Fast and Furious fans are more than familiar with how it all started. Combine a cast of attractive guys and girls, corny dialogue, a flimsy plot, and finally a couple of import tuner cars featuring body kits and vinyl that look as if it were designed by 12-year-olds.
In the wake of the anticipation of Furious 7, a brand-new movie trailer surfaced this week, and it brings back the recipe from the original The Fast And The Furious… except if you look very closely, you will realize that the bald protagonist in the black muscle tank is not Vin Diesel after all.
We give you Superfast!, written by Aaron Seltzer and directed by Jason Friedberg, the team that brought you wildly hilarious parodies including Scary Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Vampires Suck. Seriously. Here’s the movie synopsis:
Undercover cop, Lucas White (Alex Ashbaugh) joins Vin Serento’s (Dale Pavinski) LA gang of illegal street racers. They’re fast and they’re furious and they plan to double cross LA’s crime kingpin Juan Carlos de la Sol (Omar Chaparro) who hides his cash in a downtown Taco Bell. The gang’s outrageous plan is as daring as it is ridiculous and will see them towing the whole damn restaurant, at crazy speeds, half way across the city. But as Vin Serento says: “It’s not the car you drive… it’s the driver who drives the car who’s doing the driving.”
According to Comingsoon.net, Superfast! is slated to arrive in movie theaters by October. Watch the Superfast! trailer here!
