It’s goodbye 458 Italia and hello 488 GTB. And no, it’s not just a superficial makeover, especially since we’re talking about a new turbocharged 3.9 liter V8, good for 670 PS and 760 Nm of torque.
The Ferrari 488 GTB is here to succeed where the 458 Italia might have failed – which is when going up against newer and more powerful rivals such as the McLaren 650S – which on paper is now pretty much a carbon copy for the 488, performance-wise.
But since performance isn’t everything and the looks of the car matter almost as much, we’re delighted to show you this awesome rendering from Tikt Performance Parts. Usually, gold or bronze wheels don’t really go together with cars that aren’t painted in a relatively dark shade.
In this case, everything looks great – from the 488’s color, to the wheels, to the gold highlights on the hood, the sides, the mirrors and the rear vents.
That being said, we can’t wait to see more even colorways for this particular model.
