Just a couple of days ago, Suzuki teased a new concept hatch named iK-2 prior to a world premiere alongside the i-M4 crossover study at next month’s Geneva show.
Now it seems that the production version of the iK-2 has been spied virtually camouflage-free almost a month before we see the concept study in the flesh! The car in question may very well be a pre-production model for the Indian market.
The pictures that were posted on Motoroctane point to the same B-segment model, which should be bigger than the existing Suzuki Swift hatch, but smaller than the SX4 compact crossover, possibly marketed as a Nissan Note rival in Europe.
Suzuki itself didn’t really offer any useful clues in its release where it stated:
“The iK-2 is an ideal compact sized car, developed with an innovative theme of ‘Harmonised Force’. By combining all of the key elements expected in a car of this size the new model raises compact car values to the limit.”
We should know more in the coming weeks.
Thanks to MotorOctane for the pics!
