Citroen had revolutionized the way cars were made back in 1955, with the introduction of the DS in Paris Motor Show.
The Citroen DS was nothing like the other cars of the era. Its crazy, aerodynamic shape was concealing pioneering mechanical parts, like the hydro-pneumatic suspension which allowed the car to be driven with only three wheels fitted and the self-leveling headlights that turn with the front wheels.
Being considered one of the most relaxed and comfortable cars ever built, the Citroen DS sold more than one million copies in its twenty-year career and now it is considered one of the most sought-after classics.
Jeff Suhy explains to Petrolicious how he fell in love with the Citroen DS, enjoying its comfort and serenity so much that he drives it on a daily basis.
