Following its world debut at the 2014 Paris Auto Show, the Jeep Wrangler X special edition is now available in major European markets.
Available in two- or four-door versions depending on the market, the Wrangler X range is offered with a choice of two engines, both with five-speed automatic transmission: a 200hp 2.8-liter turbodiesel and a 284hp Pentastar V6 3-6 liter petrol unit.
Based on the Sahara version and similar to the Wrangler Rubicon X special edition, the Jeep Wrangler X series offers unique exterior upgrades including high-gloss black inserts on the seven slot body-color front grille, power dome hood with dual air vents, 18-inch Gloss Black wheels and Mopar design black filler door. Additionally, the exclusive Freedom Top body-color 3-piece removable hardtop is available as an option.
Interior enhancements include black leather trimmed seats with sports fabric inserts and light slate grey accent stitching, as well as polished ceramic white inserts on the passenger grab handle and air vent surrounds.
Standard equipment consists of automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel with built-in controls, heated front seats, special Mopar mats, as well as a multimedia entertainment center and UConnectTM GPS satellite navigation system with 6.5-inch touchscreen, 40 GB hard disk, USB port, AUX input and DVD player.
The Wrangler X can be ordered in one of four available paint colors: Bright White, Black, Firecracker Red and Baja Yellow.
