Apparently there are no rules when it comes down to how much you can charge for an after-market hypercar component these days.
“The world’s most expensive exhaust system” is now offered by QuickSilver Exhausts as the first aftermarket solution offered for the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse. The price is set at an eye-watering, mind-blowing, staggering £26,760 (about $41,170 on today’s exchange rate) for the titanium-made exhaust system with QuickSilver promising a “deeper, louder, crisper” soundtrack with “half the weight” of the factory item.
For that amount of money you could buy a Golf GTI in the UK instead, or a Mustang V8 in the US, so keep that in context. Veyron was never the most aurally-pleasing member of the exotic world and we suspect that some of the owners might feel the same.
