The latest episode of the Ignition web series features the 2014 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4. While I’m sure you’ve seen a decent amount of reviews of the Italian carmaker’s follow-up to the Gallardo, it’s always nice to watch a thorough assessment with independent measurements and all that.
In the video, Jonny Lieberman drives the Huracan on public roads, while racing driver Randy Pobst takes it for a spin around the circuit. With a quarter-mile time of 10.6 seconds at 132.8 mph (213.7 km/h), the Huracan is ridiculously fast: it’s quicker than a Nissan GT-R Nismo and it’s also the quickest naturally-aspirated car tested by the program.
As a matter of fact, of all the cars reviewed by Ignition, only three are quicker: the Bugatti Veyron, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder – but all priced from over $1 million. This says a lot about the Huracan, which costs four times less. But the Huracan has many other qualities that prompted the Lieberman to call it one of the best Lamborghinis ever made. You can find out what those are by watching the video.
