For all intents and purposes, this is a Gulf-livered Porsche Macan, but Hamann is artfully avoiding the use of the name for its Geneva Motor Show world premiere. What it’s telling us about it is that, it presents the firm’s new tuning package for the diesel-powered Macan S.
The kit itself adorns the Porsche SUV’s exterior with a front apron, wheel arch extensions with matching rocker panels and rear diffuser that makes space for blacked out quad pipes, a boot spoiler and decorative trims for the tail lamps, together with a new set of 22-inch wheels wrapped in 295/30 ZR22 tires.
The car’s windows were blacked out and there are no interior photos, but Hamann said it will offer plenty of customization options for the upholstery and cabin trim.
The Macan S’ 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 diesel gets an ECU-bump from 258PS (255hp) and 580Nm to 300PS (296hp) and 670Nm respectively, for a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time reduction of 0.4 seconds to 5.7 seconds with the Sport Chrono package.
