We’ve known that the facelifted Picanto was coming ever since KIA confirmed last month that we’d be seeing it in Geneva as part of their motor show line-up.
Nothing has changed since then, as the 2015 Picanto will feature the same talked-about redesigned front and rear bumpers as well as their updated ‘tiger-nose’ grille.
There’s also a new 14″ alloy wheel design and the optional sports pack which you can now finally check out in these new images they’ve released.
Inside we’re looking at new chrome accents, new cloth upholstery pattern and KIA’s AVN system (a 7″ display boasting the audio, video and navigation. There’s also the three interior color packs where owners can now customize their Picanto in ways they couldn’t have before.
The Red Pack features a sporty look thanks to its black artificial leather, red cloth seats and high-gloss red and black door panel inserts mix, while the Yellow Pack and Brown Pack offer pretty much the same things but in a different color.
There’s also footwell illumination available to buyers who specify one of these three color packs.
The 2015 Picanto is also fitted with larger brakes, therefore reducing the car’s stopping distance by 2 meters, while the 1.0 liter MPI engine now meets all the strict Euro 6 emissions standards.
For us, the highlight of this fresh batch of images is definitely the Sports Pack. The Picanto looks frisky and we do like the dual tip exhaust look.
