A new set of spy photos have surfaced the web showing details of the upcoming Audi A4. These details include the headlights and a shot of an undisguised interior, minus the steering wheel.
Based on the new MLB platform, the all-new Audi A4 is set to make its debut towards the end of this summer, prior to its first public appearance in the Frankfurt Motor Show. As you can see, the new headlights have adopted an extra crease to their shape, making the design a tad more aggressive when combined with the new, hexagonal grille we’ve already seen in the TT and the R8.
The interior follows the same direction we saw in the latest Q7 with a much more fluid design across the cabin. Even the gear selector for the automatic versions is pretty much the same shape with the Q7, with the controls for the infotainment resting just in front of it. We also expect from Audi to offer the Virtual Cockpit digital display we first saw in the TT as an option, for the basic models at least.
The new A4 is expected to be up to 100kg (220 pounds) lighter than its predecessor and packing a huge engine range to choose from, with rumors suggesting a hybrid Quattro version with two electric motors to be included for the first time.
