Opel has announced pricing for its all-new Corsa OPC at the Geneva Motor Show, with the hot-hatch starting from €24,395 in Germany (including 19 percent VAT).

This makes the new Corsa OPC cheaper than its predecessor, despite offering 15hp and up to 50Nm (37lb-ft) more with overboost. The new model will be available for order in the upcoming days and will arrive in German dealerships this spring.

Powered by a 207PS (204hp) 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine, the new Corsa OPC needs 6.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill, almost a half-second faster to 100 than the previous-generation Corsa OPC.

The new model reaches a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph), 5 km/h more than before. Opel says these figures are comparable to the current Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition, but for €4,000 less.

For those who want even more from their Corsa OPC, Opel offers the OPC Performance Package. Priced at €3,150 euros, it includes a mechanical multi-disc differential lock made by Drexler, 18-inch wheels with Michelin tires, a more focuse chassis set-up, as well as a high performance Brembo braking system with 330mm brake discs on the front axle.
