As Skoda is getting ready to ship its all-new Superb to UK customers later this year, they made sure not to overlook the fleet market, which is what the SE Business trim level is for.
We’re already fans of the Superb. In fact, we loved the old generation too. It was huge, and extremely comfortable. Now, with the new generation in place, it not only kept both of those characteristics, but it also added some visual incentives to the mix.
The new Superb is definitely a good looking car, and extremely practical as well thanks to its 625 liters of boot storage, which can expand to a cavernous 1,760 liters with the rear seats folded. Then you’ve got your clever tech such as the Virtual pedal system, blind spot detection, 3rd gen parking assist and so on.
But if you’re looking for the best value, you may be “forced” to seriously consider the SE Business version which will set you back £21,590 as a 1.6 TDI 120PS model.
At that price, you get plenty of additional stuff like Alcantara upholstery, front and rear parking sensors, sunset glass, touchscreen sat-nav as standard, Drive mode selector, plus what you already have on the SE version, meaning 17″ wheels, dual-zone air conditioning, cornering front fog lights, electrically folding door mirrors, Front Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.
For £22,990 you can get the same 1.6 TDI 120PS version but with DSG, while the 2.0 TDI 150 PS model will cost you £22,090/£23,490 for the manual and the DSG versions respectively.
