Scion has just announced the 2016MY version of its FR-S sports car with some minor upgrades that will go on sale in the States in the beginning of June.
Cosmetically, the 2016 FR-S gets new silver interior accents on the steering wheel bezel, shift bezel, door grip, and along the sides of the center console, plus two fresh exterior colors, a red called Ablaze and a blue named Oceanic.
The Japanese firm also fitted the two-door model with a new standard audio system featuring a 7-inch touch-screen display and voice recognition technology and (the now mandatory) rear-view backup camera.
These changes led to a price increase of $405 for both the six-speed manual model that starts at $25,305 (+$405) and the six-speed sequential automatic transmission version that begins from $26,405, not including a destination, processing and handling (DPH) fee of $770.
