While I do not for a second question the quality level of this rendering by Theophilus Chin, I do wonder why he bothered. Yes, this Audi Prologue ute / pickup looks pretty and it’s well modified, but this is about as far fetched as expecting Trabant to come back making two-stroke supercars…
Why not tell the manufacturers what we’d actually like them to make in the future through these renderings and where they’re going wrong today, instead of (really) directing time making distant pickups that we know are never going to be made?
Those who really love the idea of chopping a luxury sedan / hatch / estate and turning it into a ute “because it’s cool” can go ahead and buy an angle grinder and see where they end up with.
It’s all a bit much, really, with all these fancy pickups popping up every other day, or if it’s not a pickup, it’ll be a wagon version as that’s the second-most popular route to go down for photo manipulators.
