How awesome is that? The organizers of the ongoing (for the public) 2015 New York Auto Show used drones to record this video of the event with a bird’s-eye-view of some of the nearly 1,000 vehicles on display.
Believed to be amongst the largest indoor drone photo shoots ever made covering almost one million square feet, the video was shot prior to last Friday’s public sneak preview from a custom designed drone with 12-inch rotors that housed a 15mm super speed wide angle cine lens shooting at 4K, according to the release.
“We’re always looking for new ways to highlight the excitement of the Auto Show,” said show Chairman, John LaSorsa. “Using drones helps capture the experience of the Show and bring it to life outside the walls of the convention center. It’s also a great way for us to showcase the innovative spirit of the Show and its exhibitors.
You can check it out for yourself after the jump.
If you’re in the Big Apple, the show will remain open until this Sunday, April 12.
