Dodge launched the online configurator for the Dodge Viper GTC allowing the fans of the V10 supercar to spec their own custom Viper.
The GTC program gives customers the choice between more than 25 million possible combinations: 8000 exterior color options, 24,000 custom stripe colors, 11 wheels options, 16 interior trims, 7 aero packages , 4 suspension options and three brake options.
As it is the norm with custom models these days, each “1 of 1 Viper” will have a custom instrument panel badge with the buyer’s chosen name on it. To ensure that every Viper GTC is truly unique, Dodge says that they will not allow the same configuration, including color, to be ordered in the same model year.
And because mistakes are easy to happen when you have such a huge color range to choose from, Dodge will send buyers a 1:18-scale Viper replica to confirm their color selection before their Viper is built. Prices (MSRP) start at $94,995.
This level of customization is found usually in much more expensive machinery but Dodge is keen on keeping the Viper relevant in this paddle-shift, turbocharged era we are living and we like them for doing so.
