A vehicle is always worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it.
Okay, so, how much would you spend for a barely used 1991 Chevy C/K 1500 Z71 with 5,558km (3,454 miles) on the odometer that was discovered hiding in a garage in Canada for the better part of the past quarter century?
There’s no ‘Buy it now’ option on the eBay listing, but the only bid made at US$20,000 has not met the reserve, so the seller is asking for more than that.
Below is the eBay description:
“This is 24 year old 1991 Chevrolet Silverado SWB stepside Z-71 4×4. It is a fully optioned, 350 V8, 4×4, Z-71, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, rear sliding window, cruise control, bucket seats and center console.
This rare truck is equipped with the GM Canada Ground Effects package. This package consisted of aluminum running boards, aluminum roll bar and lights and aluminum grille guard.
This Silverado was sold at a local Chevrolet dealer and has not been driven for the past 16 years. The truck was always kept in a garage. We purchased it from the estate of the original owner. It is in “as new” condition. The photos show the truck in the condition as it was picked up. It will be detailed in the next few days, all fluids will be changed and a full service performed.”
