Lotus Almost Had Us Going With Daniel Craig Lookalike

No, Mr Bond is by no means collecting his new Evora 400, as Lotus would have you believe if you’re following their social media feeds.

Of course, plenty of other outlets picked the story up and ran with it, either willingly trying to stay within the April Fool’s theme or simply because they thought that was the real Daniel Craig.

And he does look a lot like the “original” doesn’t he? Except for the lips and the jaw-line, which is what quickly convinced us there wasn’t any truth to this story.

Even so, we’re willing to bet both the real Daniel Craig as well as the fictional character he plays would love to have a go in the new Evora 400 – Lotus’ fastest production car ever.

With genuine supercar-like stats, the Evora 400 can reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h) and hit 62 mph (100km/h) in just 4.2 seconds.

European deliveries are set to start in August while North America will have to wait another month or so. So Daniel would really have to pull off a “James Bond” in order to collect an Evora 400 this soon.
