They may cost an arm and in some instances, a leg or two as well, but admittedly, manufacturer alloy wheels are usually winners in the looks department if you like keeping things stock.
Mercedes-Benz Accessories has just released a multitude of fresh rims for most of its lineup in Europe, ranging in size from the new 18-inch spokes for the smaller A-, B- and CLA-Class to as large as 21-inches for SUVs like the older M-Class and its facelifted brethren, the GLE and everything in between.
According to MB designers (…and marketers), “big wheels are in, but they are shown off to particularly striking effect by fine details such as rim flanges painted in a different color. Two-tone finishes continue to be popular, as do high-sheen light-alloy wheels, whose special appeal stems from the contrast between the seemingly bare metal and the painted surfaces”.
