Not that long ago, the 911 Turbo S was the ultimate performance car with a Porsche badge. Now it almost feels like it’s underrated.
Yes, the 918 Spyder is the crown jewel. Ask anybody who drove one and they’ll say there’s nothing else like it in the entire Porsche line-up. Still, you can’t ignore the engineering and the performance that lies dormant in the Turbo S, until you floor it for the first time and find out just what agility really feels like in an automobile.
From nothing to 100 km/h ( 62 mph) in just 3.1 seconds thanks to 540 HP, 750 Nm of torque, 1,680 kg of weight and an all-wheel drive system is nothing to frown upon. It never was and odds are, it never will be.
Now that we’ve established (as if we needed to) that performance-wise, this is one of the best cars in the world, let’s talk about looks.
The 911 is a great looking car. Yes, there are those who for some reason don’t appreciate its design, and never did. But all in all, we love it. Especially more so when it’s rocking a black on white theme. The body is white, including the rear wing and the side mirrors, but the roof it black and so are the air vents and the tires, obviously. The clear taillights are a nice touch too.
As for the “shoes”, we’re looking at a set of white ADV05 MV2 CS wheels, measuring 21×9.5 in the front and 21×12.5 in the rear. Big thumbs up for the yellow calipers as well.
Even though white wheels are generally hard to pull off, this 911 Turbo S does a great job with it and we’re glad to say that it stands out for the right reasons.
