Even though there didn’t seen to be any danger of the LaFerrari ending up in the wall, that was still way too close for comfort when it comes to a roughly $2.0 million car.
There’s no need to get on the driver’s case about not being able to drive a hypercar or not being able to prevent the slide, the spin wasn’t that serious.
Could it have been avoided though? Of course. All he had to do was to not over-correct that much after he got on the power on the exit, but props for getting the car back quickly by applying some throttle. Even so, it does kind of make you cringe whenever you see this type of car in any sort of immediate danger. Remember that Veyron backing into a parked LaFerrari? Even that was hard to watch.
Still, we do get a few more interesting things from this short video – such as the chance to hear that symphonic V12 engine. It’s good for 950 HP (963 PS) and it will help the LaFerrari get from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a little under 3 seconds.
Another cool thing about this video is that we get to see a couple of other hypercars do a quick drive-by in front of the camera. The LaFerrari’s playmates were the Koenigsegg Agera, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1. It seems like the popular “kids” do tend to play together.
