A Sunday Express report said it has exclusive information that the BBC is really close to signing three all-new people to host the post-Clarksonian age Top Gear.
They are actor Philip Glenister, TV presenter Guy Martin and, as previously speculated, Jodie Kidd who sounds like she may be the “lead presenter;” she’s the one in the video below, in case you don’t know her.
Apparently, the now ex-producer and co-creator of the show, Andy Wilman, who quite after the punching fiasco, was overheard announcing the new lineup while having lunch with Jamiroquai front man Jay Kay.
Finally, the source speculates the reborn show could be back in the BBC2’s shows list next spring at the earliest.
Meanwhile, rumors regarding what the show’s old trio of presenters is up to seem to have died down… Some say they may start an all-new show in the same vein as Top Gear and that it’s going to be even crazier than what the Beeb ever allowed them to show; all we know is it’ll probably feature plenty of broadcasting corporation bashing intrinsically linked with its message.
