The 2016 Honda Pilot Goes On Sale In June, Priced From $29,995

The redesigned 2016 Honda Pilot will start at just $125 more than the outgoing model, the company announced Wednesday.

The full MSRP breakdown was released by Honda, with the base LX model starting at $29,995 before the $880 destination charge. A 2015 Pilot LX starts at $29,870. Over the outgoing model, the LX upgrades from steel wheels to 18-inch aluminium ones, as well as a new 6-speed automatic and gets push-button start as standard. Horsepower from a new 3.5-liter V6 jumps 30 over the old car, too. All-wheel drive is an $1,800 option.

EX models keyless entry and start, a power driver’s seat, three-zone climate control, Honda’s LaneWatch camera, more USB outlets and the touchscreen radio with satellite radio, and start at $33,310 with destination. EX-L begins at $36,785 and includes leather upholstery, moonroof, power tailgate and heated front seats. Available for $1,000 on EX and EX-L is the Honda Sensing suite of safety technology, such as adaptive cruise control with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist and the road departure mitigation system. EX-Ls can be had with navigation for $1,000, or a rear-entertainment system for $1,600.

Touring models get the 9-speed automatic and 20-inch wheels, along with the rear-entertainment system, a 540-watt sound system, stop-start, the Honda Sensing package and navigation. It starts at $41,900.

Finally, the new top-of-the-line Elite gets standard all-wheel drive, the big glass roof, LED headlights, blind-spot monitoring, parking sensors, cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, HD radio, rain-sensing wipers and second-row captain’s chairs. It goes for $47,300.
