Building a really powerful car that can go really fast in a straight line is a lot easier than building one that can do just about everything in any type of environment.

Koenigsegg didn’t cut any corners with the One:1 (just like they didn’t with any of their models). These cars can monster just about anything both on the drag strip as well as on the track and it actually is a bit comical how saying that doesn’t feel at all like an exaggeration.

With that in mind, this video was pretty great, especially since we got to see what the One:1 can do at Spa, with former F1 driver Adrian Sutil behind the wheel.

Actually, calling Sutil a “former F1 driver” isn’t really fair since he was still racing last year. He might get another seat with a new team sometime in the future – especially since he’s really not that old at age 32.

But let’s stay on track and talk about how this Swedish weapon of mass destruction will automatically shorten the lifespan of any supercar it goes up against.

Watch as at one point, it comes across both a 911 GT3 RS and a Ferrari 458 – and of course it annihilates them as soon as Sutil plants his foot heavily on the gas pedal.

There was also a Gallardo with a really massive rear wing that seemed to be ferociously quick while accelerating, but we didn’t get to see the Ksegg overtake it.

Which kind of raises the question of what type of car you would need in order to stay in front of the Koenigsegg One:1 on a fast race track like Spa or say Monza.

It would be interesting to see the hybrid hypercars give it a go, but our money would still be on the One:1.
