Alfa Romeo have always made beautiful station wagons, which means that next time they give it a go, we may end up with something very special.
Of course, the latest model that we’ve all come to know and love (at least in terms of looks) was the 159 Sportwagon which even to this day is, for lack of a better term, a very sexy family estate.
There is no other car manufacturer on earth that could have built the 159, since that pure Italian design is pretty much unique. By the way, I’m not praising it for any of its technical aspects, just so we’re clear.
So how about the Giulia? Or at least for now, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde. Wouldn’t you like to see it as a Sportwagon? We’ll just go ahead and assume that your answer is a big “YES”, just so we can talk more about this rather beautiful rendering.
Right off the bat, the roofline isn’t as dramatic as the 159 SW‘s, but it works, it looks like a modern-day sporty estate and that’s what it’s all about.
The regular non QV version might not look as spectacular as an Estate but making sure you’ve got a set of decent-sized wheels on it should fix any aesthetic issues.
As always, decent-sized wheels cure just about everything. Add a sporty bodykit of sorts and you’re all set.
