Since Alfa Romeo’s new sports sedan still has a couple of days of glory left (until Audi shows off their all-new A4), let’s enjoy a few more Giulia QV renderings.
Right off the bat, what’s wrong with this picture? Of course I’m referring to the Giulia Coupe (aka Sprint). Even though it looks good, this is just the 4 door version minus two doors, design wise – which let’s face it, is a lot less impressive than a Coupe version that would have a naturally lower stance and feature a different rear design.
If Alfa does build a 2-door version of the Giulia, they better follow in BMW‘s and Mercedes’ footsteps with the 4 Series Coupe and the C-Class Coupe where at least you have different rooflines separating them from the saloons.
The second image here is of a DTM version, inspired by the famous 155 DTM (livery included) – though that was a four-door car to be fair. Still, this one works a bit better thanks mainly to the wide-body kit, racing tires, huge rear wing, decals and so on.
The flame-spitting side exhausts are a nice touch as they also happen to be something that you would find on real life modern-day DTM cars such as the lean & mean M4 DTM.
In the end, we’re just waiting for Alfa Romeo to release more image of the Giulia, the non-QV version, along with more shots of the interior and a lot more exterior colors – though that last part can also be achieved via renderings.
