If you’re into drag racing even a tiny bit, watching this video will make you feel like a kid again, seeing your favorite superheroes team up on screen for the first time.

Forget about the 400 to 800 HP supercars. You can even forget about the 900+ HP hypercars because this right here is the pinnacle of drag racing, the 2,000+ HP club.

Before we get into analyzing the footage, let’s all give a warm welcome to the 2,000+ HP Underground Racing Lamborghini Huracan in its first “unofficial” YouTube appearance. Even if we all still love the Gallardo, it’s about time it steps aside for the present-day baby Lambo.

Great, so now that we’ve done that, let’s check out the ‘King of the Streets’ main field:

– 2,000 HP AMS Performance Alpha Omega Nissan GT-R
– 2,000 HP D3 Performance Twin Turbo Viper
– 2,000+ HP Underground Racing Twin Turbo Lamborghini Huracan
– 2,000+ HP Underground Racing Twin Turbo Audi R8
– 1,750 HP Dallas Performance Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo

Those are some really special cars, don’t you think? However, the show does start with the Alpha Omega GT-R (yes, the same one that holds the 1/2 mile world record) going up against a stock C6 Corvette Z06. It’s safe to say that the Vette was completely obliterated.

After it warms up by dining on the Z06, the reigning champ faces off against the 1,750 HP TT Gallardo. You know what? That was a pretty close race, but the GT-R clearly had a bit more pulling power throughout the rev range.

Next up were the quarter finals where the GT-R went up against the 2,000+ HP UR TT Audi R8, which accidentally goes into neutral just when it was about to get interesting. Oh well.

This next round however was arguably the most fascinating as it saw the 2,000+ HP TT Huracan give the AMS GT-R all that it could handle. The race is incredibly tight but the GT-R moved on despite the Huracan going a bit quicker through the speed trap.

The final round was all about feeding the 2,000 HP TT Viper to the extremely hungry Alpha Omega – which didn’t even break a sweat in winning the competition for the 2nd year in a row.
