Even though we can easily admire the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V these days, it doesn’t mean that we should let the old model go quietly into the night.
But we probably shouldn’t worry about any CTS-V Caddy doing anything or going anywhere quietly. The CTS-V doesn’t just look like a beast, it also goes like one and sounds like a whole bunch of them!
Of course, if you’re a tuning company, you’re probably salivating at the chance to leave your mark on this crazy fast saloon/muscle car – which is exactly what the D3 Group did with their CTS-V widebody kit.
The car doesn’t just look mental, it also goes like the wind. Unfortunately we don’t have any official figures for you just yet.
Looking at just a few of the upgrades, you have a 3.6 L D3 Ultracharger, a front mount ultracooler, D3 spec camshaft, upgraded valvetrain, methanol injection, E85 conversion, upgraded intercooler pump, custom ECU tuning, plus a whole bunch of exterior mods.
Apart from the widebody kit itself, you also have the air inlet hood, LED inlets, roof spoiler, rear diffuser, front lip add on, headlamp refinish w/Red LED and black cherry D3 Mohawk plus brake calipers.
This thing is either something that a very knowledgeable car enthusiasts would buy & drive, or something Justin Bieber would roll in. We can’t decide.
Either way, it’s smoking hot.
