Look who’s back ladies and gentlemen! We have a brand new Dodge commercial, and nowadays that’s reason enough to start grinning.
Dodge really won us over with those ‘Dodge Law‘ ads a while back and it seems as though the company has settled on a clear path towards better marketability – fast, aggressive driving.
Naturally, they can’t come out and tell you something like …”Hey come buy a Dodge and drive like a lunatic!” But what they can do is make you feel like these cars are going to put a smile on your face and make you enjoy driving in a more…flamboyant fashion.
The spot itself is well made in terms of graphics. We’ve got the Challenger and the Charger Hellcat doing their thing, burning out those rear tires. But we also have two 1914 Dodges, apparently doing the same thing.
Don’t worry, it’s all CGI, but the idea is pretty cool and straight forward.
Another thing we like is the slogan at the end. ‘Foot Down Since 1914’ sounds terrific, even though it’s clearly re-enforced by Dodge moving to the front of the class recently with the addition of the two Hellcats to its model line up.
Even so, can’t blame them for milking their new found muscle prowess.
