Earlier this year, Novitec Rosso showed us their 637hp (646PS) Ferrari California T tune, but now, they’re kicking it up a notch with the widebody N-Largo edition.
The new carbon-fiber body kit that was developed together with Vittorio Strosek –you probably remember him from his company’s wild widebody conversions from the 1980s- adds 110mm or 4.3 inches to the hardtop roadster’s girth through the use of muscular fenders on both ends of the car.
On the front, the 60mm or 2.3 inches wider fenders make room for new 21-inch rims in 255/30 ZR21 Pirelli P ZERO high-performance tires, while at the rear, the 110mm or 4.3 inches wider fenders allowed the use of 22-inch wheels in 315/25 ZR22 rubber.
Newly styled rocker panels, together with revamped bumpers on both ends, front and rear spoilers, smoked sidelights, and a fresh set of quad pipes are also included in the N-Largo program.
Novitec has fitted the car with different sports springs that lower the ride height by around 35mm or 1.4 inches, while also adding a hydraulic front lift system that can raise the front end by 40mm or 1.6 inches at the touch of a button.
An ECU upgrade and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system, boost the 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 by 108PS (107hp) and 96Nm (71 lb-ft) to 668PS (659hp) and 871Nm (642 lb-ft) respectively. Novitec quotes a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint in 3.2 seconds, a 0.4 sec improvement over the stock 530PS (523hp) California T.
Upon customer request, the German tuner can also customize the Ferrari’s interior.
