Skoda keeps bragging about the practicality of its forthcoming Superb Combi or Estate version which is due to go on sale in September.
The estate version of the Superb offers an impressive total of 660 litres of load capacity with the seats in position or a rather huge 1,950 litres with the seats folded flat while the front passenger’s seat can also fold to allow carrying long objects up to 3.10 metres in length.
The new Superb Combi also features an adjustable boot floor which can be used to divided the available space in various ways while the electric tailgate can be operated hands-free with the optional sensor placed around the bottom of the rear bumper which is triggered by a simple foot movement.
The huge range of available engines remains the same with the Superb sedan, while Skoda will offer an AWD option with the 1.4 TSI 150PS, 2.0TSI 280PS, 2.0TDI 150PS and 2.0TDI 190PS.
The first deliveries are expected in September with the order books opening in July for the UK market.
