There really doesn’t seem to be any catch in the Tesla promise you buy into with one of their cars, as you can now drive for extended distances and periods without a hitch, even in Europe.

For instance, a trip from Oslo to London is perfectly plausible, and it doesn’t even take much longer than with a conventional vehicle. There are strategically placed Superchargers in the countries along the way and according to Robert Llewelyn, host of Fully Charged, range anxiety is no more.

In the video posted below, he drives a Model S P85 on the specified route, showing how such a trip would work out. He proves there’s no difficulty in it, really, and aside from being a bit too big to fit in the Eurotunnel train, all is well.

And the best part? He drove 1,309 miles or 2,106 km spending only €5 for charging that he had to pay at a German hotel – otherwise, it would have cost nothing.
