Ford brought its two latest performance models, the new Focus RS and Mustang GT350R to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, with the cars driven by Ken Block and Ben Collins, formerly known as The Stig on Top Gear, respectively.

Even though Collins took the hardcore Mustang GT350R for a non-timed lap on the famous hill-climb, it’s the one that you’ll really want to turn up the volume to hear its 526hp 5.2-liter dual-overhead-cam V8 roar.

The Focus RS, on the other hand, which completed a regular lap on the second day, sounds umm…how can we put it; something more akin to handheld tool than a super-hot hatch that it is? For what it’s worth, Ford said that the sound was synced to the video from “a GoPro attached to the vehicle”, so it may sound better in person.

We’ll remind you that Ford recently confirmed performance figures for the new Focus RS that gets a 2.3-liter turbocharged four producing 350PS (345hp) at 6,800 rpm and 440Nm (324lb-ft) of torque between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm or 470Nm (347lb-ft) for up to 15 seconds during hard acceleration with the overboost function.
