Audi’s Allroad recipe is known all too wheel: take an existing estate model, increase ride height, add Quattro all-wheel drive system and body cladding and you have a new model to display in showrooms.
While the Allroad adventure began with the second-generation Audi A6 in 1999, the same treatment was given to the A4 Avant starting from 2009. We don’t expect Audi to stop offering an A4 Allroad Quattro now that an all-new A4 generation has been unveiled and neither does Photoshop manipulator Remco Meulendijk.
He rendered the new A4 Allroad based on the new A4 Avant, which means the renderings provide a pretty accurate idea of what the production model will look like. To be honest, there’s little Audi can surprise us with when it comes to the next A4 Allroad Quattro.
Equally unsurprising is the fact that the new model will have more competitors than before: besides compact SUVs, similar models like the Volvo V60 Cross Country and VW Passat Alltrack are now fighting for a piece of the same pie.
