The all-new 2016 Ford Focus RS‘ pricing has not yet been revealed, but it has appeared on the Blue Oval’s car-configurator page. Being that this is not yet official, take it with a grain of salt as it might not be final.
According to Ford’s website, the RS kicks off in the US at $35,730 in base trim, and it seems it will come with leather seats and 18-inch rims as standard. Should you want a powered moonroof, that’ll be another $895, while the “Premium Painted Forged” wheels add $1,395.
Specced up with these options and factoring in the $875 destination charge, a well equipped Focus RS will set you back $41,680.
This means it’s priced up there with the Impreza WRX STI, and with 345 hp and a zero to sixty time of 4.5 seconds it should give the Subaru, Mercedes’ A45 AMG and Audi’s RS3 good run for their money.
