Do you see yourself living long enough to celebrate your 94th birthday? You must have an optimistic view on life then, which is a good thing. But I’m sure not many people picture themselves driving at 94, let alone buying a new car.
Well, 94-year-old Michael Kearns from Ireland is definitely living life to the fullest, as he recently took delivery of a brand new Seat Mii.
A resident of the small Irish village of Killeagh, the retired postman says he needed a new car to satisfy his mobility needs.
He chose the small Seat city car as he mostly drives for short distances, including trips to the beach, family visits or trip to the church – all on his own. However, he admits that sometimes he drives just for the heck of it, even if he has nowhere specific to go. “I really enjoy driving”, the man says. If this is not the definition of petrolhead, I don’t know what is.
