Since we’ve already seen a whole bunch of Alfa Romeo Giulia digital models, what’s one more rendering amongst foundations?

Well, what it is…is ever so slightly interesting. And not necessarily because it’s a ‘looker’. Since the Giulia should almost certainly cost less than an Audi A4 (even if not by much), building a more “capable” model to rival the A4 Allroad could actually be a smart business choice.

Of course, now we’re just throwing ideas around, but odds are, Alfa probably already considered it – even if they subsequently dismissed it.

So how do you guys like this ‘CrossWagon’? I think it looks OK, but where’s the ground clearance? Also, do the headlights really need to pierce the body cladding?

Maybe these are all signs that this car is never getting a green light, though keep in mind that any and all possible Giulia versions will probably depend on how the market responds once Alfa Romeo launches the sedan.

In conclusion, building a SportWagon is a must, but a CrossWagon? It just seems like you could argue for about 10 seconds why it would make sense, but then argue against it for about 10 minutes, doesn’t it?

Still, yet another solid design effort. It’s hard to get tired of Alfa Romeos.
