It looks like Ariel managed to turn the hardcore Atom into a versatile all-terrain toy by using a quite simple recipe.
All they needed was a set of adjustable Ohlins dampers, softer springs and a bigger cage really. Autocar says that the Ariel Nomad behaves like a Stadium Truck, and who can blame them by watching it slide from corner to corner and from tarmac to dirt without the slightest of hesitations.
All I know is that this thing looks like mega fun, and by having a wind-screen and a softer suspension, the Nomad looks like the most practical Ariel you can buy right now.
I just wrote that a buggy is practical, that’s how much I want one. What’s your excuse?
