A super saloon with different custom wheels on each side is definitely something you don’t get to see every day.
Granted, you do need to check out the photo gallery to get a clear picture of both designs. There’s a set of HRE RS102M wheels on one side, while on the other side you’ve got navy blue HRE RS101M wheels.
The first thought that comes to mind is to obviously pick a set and go with it, since this is just for putting on a show for the camera – people wouldn’t really drive around like this would they? I mean, it’s not like it is with special edition basketball sneakers for crying out loud.
The good news is that the M3 is a really good looking car and I could make an argument for either of these sets, though I do favor the blue ones (RS101M) because they match the car’s character a bit better. A lot better actually.
Maybe it’s because they kind of resemble the M Sport wheels and that triggered my response. Even so, the color contrast works better too with the blue wheels, but maybe you guys feel that it’s the other way around.
By the way, we can’t be completely sure that they used both sets on the car at the same time and that they didn’t just have to separate photoshoots for both sets and just made sure to post different sides of the car, each with one type of wheel.
Regardless, the M3 knows how to rock both sets and luckily, they also got the wheel sizes just right – going over 20″ is very tricky (visually) when it comes to sports sedans in general.
