Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new world record for a semi-truck jump!
Gregg Godfrey smashed the previous record of 83 feet 7 inches (25.47 meters), set by a truck jumping over a moving Formula 1 car, by staying airborne over a distance of 166 feet (50.6 meters).
The longest semi-truck jump ever took place at Evel Knievel Days in Butte, Montana, on Friday July 24. A 2007 Baja 1000 winner, Gregg Godfrey had set another record for the longest semi-truck ramp jump at 50 feet (15.24 meters) in 2008.
His latest record is absolutely epic, as you can see from the following videos.
