Ford is not saying much at all about the new GT, but they are apparently pushing the idea that the road version is not all that different to the one they’re racing at Le Mans in 2016.
What else are we being told? Well, the fact that not only is the GT close to its racing sibling, but that the technology it uses will trickle down to lesser Fords. Apparently, it has patent-pending new designs for the suspension, as well as a whole host of innovations Ford is not yet ready to talk about.
However, the most information made public so far seems to be this interview with Ford Performance boss, Dave Pericak. He’s the one doing all of the talking in the XCar video posted below; don’t expect to hear any major reveals, though, just some hints if you’re perceptive.
