Fully restored and carefully modded, this stunning 1980 W123 Mercedes 300D is being auctioned at the moment.
This is a US model originally equipped with a four-speed automatic which has been converted to manual and features extensive mechanical and cosmetic work, using rare Euro parts, like the front and rear bumpers, headlights with a matching Euro-spec wiring harness to ensure everything works as it should.
The car also features a two-tone paintwork, with the roof painted in a factory 904 Dark Blue and the rest of the body finished in its original China Blue. Mind you, the body was completely stripped in order to get painted while all the sheet metal is claimed to be original to the car, which was also rust-free.
Even its wheels are OEM lightweight aluminum parts that weigh 80 pounds less than the stock steelies. You can find the rest of the details over here at BringATrailer, along with the auction itself.
