Drag-strip bragging rights should be the very last reason for someone to own a Caterham 620R but for the sake of knowledge, this is how it compares with the P85D on a straight line.
Autocar took the electric AWD bi-motor wonder of Elon Musk and performed yet another drag race against the featherweight adrenaline-pumping 620R, just to illustrate how freaking quick this two-tonne sedan really is and of course how easy it is to extract all of its available straight-line performance.
On the other hand, the Caterham 620R is clearly not the easiest car in this particular situation and the road was dusty, according to Matt Prior, but who cares? This thing looks so fun, it should be illegal.
