Subaru has released details and pricing for their 2016 model year BRZ in the States.
The only changes over the outgoing model year is the addition of the new “SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia System” with a 6.2-in. single-touch gesture display and a rear view camera (mandatory in the US by May 2018) that are standard across the range which includes two models, the Premium and the Limited.
Both trims are priced $300 lower from the previous model year, with the Premium starting at $25,395 and the Limited from $27,395, excluding a $795 delivery fee. Only the latter is offered with an optional 6-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel paddle-shifters.
Limited models get a few more extras including a rear spoiler, fog lights, Alcantara trimmed interior, Keyless Access, dual-zone automatic climate control and an All-Weather Package with dual-mode heated front seats and heated side mirrors.
There are no changes to the BRZ’s standard 200-horsepower 2.0-liter boxer unit.
Sales of the 2016 models will commence in the US this fall.
