Following countless teaser photos and videos, Mercedes-AMG has released the first images showing the all-new 2017 C63 Coupe in all its glory.
Compared to the regular C-Class Coupe unveiled earlier this month, the AMG model gets the sharper aero kit with more aggressive bumpers, bigger alloy wheels, bulged wheel arches, rear diffuser and spoiler. The C63 S Coupe gets differentiated from the base C63 Coupe thanks to a different grille design, a more prominent front spoiler, as well as black painted AMG styling bits, including the alloy wheels, mirror caps, front and rear spoilers, door sills and diffuser.
The official figures are yet to be released, but power will come from a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine expected to produce 476PS (470hp) in the base model and 510PS (503hp) in the C63 S Coupe. In both cases, the engine will be mated to an AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed sport transmission with paddle shifters sending power to the rear wheels via a limited slip differential.
Stay tuned for full details and more photos as Mercedes-AMG will officially unveil the 2017 C63 Coupe in a few hours’ time.
