Here’s that time of the week when Rolls-Royce presents another limited-edition, bespoke model.
You might think Rolls’s continuous unveiling of custom, limited-edition models would be considered overkill, but the fact of the matter is the British car manufacturer is striking gold.
No, really, just think of how many bespoke models will exist and what value will these cars have in the future. Just like every coachbuilt, unique Roller back in the pre-war era, these automobiles will probably fetch obscene piles of cash someday.
That said, check this Jade Pearl Wraith, commissioned by entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael Fux – founder of Sleep Innovations. Fux is an avid collector of fine automobiles and according to Rolls, this car pays homage to its owner, “whose imagination and love of vivid colors are seemingly endless”.
Needless to say, this turquoise, or minty Roller catches the eye in a spectacular way and its subtle white roof-hood contrast makes it seem like a high-polished gemstone. The bespoke color scheme was personally commissioned by Mr. Fux himself and the colors are officially called Aequus Green and Cornish White.
Moreover, the vivid color palette covers all details, including the interior. All the interior! The Aequus Green hue is present on the luxurious leather, steering wheel, instrument dials, clock, speakers, and even on the veneer. As usual, the attention to details is mind-blowing and even if the entire car is covered in basically the same color, there is subtle contrast everywhere that highlights diverse details.
In conclusion, whether you like it or not, this Wraith is a rare and eccentric sight to behold.
