A Belgian member of the 2Addics forum, going by the name of Riky, went to his local BMW dealer and asked around for the upcoming M2.
He got quite a bit of information about options and learned that the dealer demo car is set to be delivered in March 2016.
He was even shown an options list by the dealer but was obviously not given one to take back home… Basically, it said that the car will have a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, and a seven-speed DCT available at extra cost, in spite of previous rumors.
This was also later confirmed by another forum member, emanthis, who gained possession of the complete list. Check it out below in complete form and at first glance, the only thing that’s really missing are optional full LED headlights:
Manual 6 gear transmission is standard, 7-DCT as an option
Only four colors (Black Sapphire, Alpine White, Long Beach Blue, Mineral Grey)
Only one single interior – black leather with blue stitching
Only one wheel option — 19″ wheels in black
Navigation Pro is standard
Power heated seats is an option
Carbon inserts is standard
Rear camera is an option
Parking sensor in the rear is standard, no option for the front
Internet and this kind of stupid (imo ) things are an option
Haman Kardon audio is an option
Adaptive headlights is an option
Warranty extension to 5 years is an option
Rear tinted windows is an option
Two different telephone system are an option
