This different-looking Ferrari California T is allegedly called the Vettel Edition.
The pictures were snapped by A.R. Supercars at the Belgium Grand Prix whilst the automobile was reportedly awaiting to be revealed at the motoring event. That said, the pictures depict a two-tone California T contrasted by white (or is that silver?) accents.
The black highlights matched with the overall rosso-corsa paint scheme and gialo F1-styled Ferrari sticker badges are fashioned to represent the livery sported by the current Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 car. The sticker badges are an obvious throwback to the ultra-weight shedding program that happens in Formula 1, in the pursuit of pure speed and highly optimized aerodynamics.
The blackened sideskirts and front splitter visually reduces the car’s proportion making it seem sleeker, lower, wider and angrier. The interior also has a light personal touch to it, sporting custom seats and center console, and the Italian Tricolor on the steering wheel. In fact, if you look closely, you’ll even see the Italian national colors on the central column buttons.
The automobile is believed to be a 1 of 1 special edition, made by the Ferrari Tailored Made department in Maranello, but this has yet to be confirmed.
