Ferrari’s stand at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance featured a dark red California T with an ivory roof commissioned by a customer via the company’s Tailor Made program.
The model features classical styling cues, starting with the “Rosso Ferrari” exterior color, the exact shade of the very first Ferrari ever, the 125 S.
The roof painted in ivory “250 Europa GT” provides an interesting contrast, while the chrome front grille, ball polished rims and black brake calipers give it a more contemporary look.
But it’s the interior that really makes this California T a very special car. The Bordeaux leather seats, a nod to the iconic Dezza chairs by Giò Ponti, are accented with ivory diamante detailing and leather inserts. The steering wheel, dashboard and door panels also feature bordeaux leather. Glossy chrome accents on the dashboard and center tunnel add to the interior’s opulence.
No technical changes were made, which means that this unique California T is powered by a 3.9-liter turbocharged V8 engine that produces 560PS (552hp) at 7,500 rpm and 755Nm (557 lb-ft) of peak torque. That’s enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 316km/h (196mph).
