Images of the Citroen group’s new jacked-up DS4 Crossback and the refreshed for the 2016MY DS4 hatchback have surfaced on the web ahead of their Frankfurt Motor Show debut.
Citroen is slowly phasing out its “double chevron” grille from its newfangled DS brand, with the 2016 DS4 facelift being the latest to get the firm’s new corporate face.
Along with the new six-point grille that features a prominent ‘DS’ badge in the center, the DS4 hatch also gets a reworked front bumper with different fog light inserts and new LED headlamps – though, these could be optional on some trims.
The 2016 DS4 range also welcomes the addition of a new variant dubbed Crossback, which gives the compact model a slightly more rugged appearance through a taller suspension, black plastic cladding on the wheel arches and silver roof rails.
We don’t have any other official details on the two cars yet, but it shouldn’t be long before Citroen or rather, the DS brand, comes out with an official release.
